This beautiful Italian structure is recognized worldwide— often a highlight in a tourist‘s itinerary. The lovely building is interesting because it is very old and still standing, in spite of its’ faulty foundation. In many ways, the tower of Pisa is similar to the spiritual health of the Italian people. Italians are a beautiful, warm and loving people who cling to cultural traditions. Unfortunately, their spiritual foundation has been undermined from what was originally constructed. In this post-modern society, the truth of Scripture and the knowledge of personal salvation and a relationship with Jesus are not widely understood.
When you see a picture of the Pisa, I would ask you to say a prayer for the Italian youth and the ministry that I am doing to reach them through friendship, church planting and discipleship.
